Sneaker Design Workshops July 30 & 31, 2011

Hello,

I'm offering two Sneaker Design Workshops, one for adults and one for children.

During the Sneaker Design Workshop we'll learn about the principles of design, how do draw your design on paper, transfer your design to your Sneaker, work with colors, and make the coolest pair of Sneakers in town.

The adult Sneaker Workshop will be Saturday July 30, 2011 from 1-4pm.

The child Sneaker Workshop will be on Sunday July 31, 2011 from 1-4pm.

My studio located at 655 West Lenoir Street in Raleigh, NC.

The cost for is $15 per participant.

Each participant will need to bring with them on pair of white or light colored sneakers. Sneakers without laces work best, but Sneakers with laces work too. I supply all markers, paper, and pencils.

Should a family decided to take the workshop together, they should register for Sunday's workshop.

Space is limited, so I encourage all to pre-register prior to class. You are welcomed to stop by my studio to meet me and to take a tour of my studio. To register, please contact me and I'll be glad to meet you at my studio, you're house, or at the Cameron Village Public Library.

Monday Night Open Studio

Bring your supplies and hang out with other artists. There is always a Scrabble board on the table. No fee, but donations accepted for electricity...I have tons of equipment including screen printing presses, paper cutters, easels, a/v and tons of art dvds, plug for you ipod, plus so much more...All levels, all ages...its awesome! call, text or message me for address....6:30-9:30pm

Saturday and Sunday Afternoon Art Lessons

We have a blast with acrylic painting, print making, screen printing, oil pastels, book making, book journaling just to name a few...Ages 6-18, all levels are welcomed. Never more than 6 students per class, from 1-3pm, $60 includes all supplies except for sneakers and tee shirts at Kirk Adam Studio in Boylan Heights in Raleigh, NC.

I have patience, I have dedication, and I am interested in your or your child learning Guitar!

I specialize in beginning guitar and I also teach intermediate. I have over 20 years experience of playing guitar with 10 years experience teaching guitar. Whether you or your child may desire to learn their favorite song or to build a solid foundation of skills, I can design a course of study that is just right for you or your child.

I'm the Art teacher at Neuse Charter School in Smithfiled, NC where I teach K-5, Acrylic Teacher at The NCSU Crafts Center. I teach guitar lessons from my studio in Boylan Heights in Raleigh and at River City Arts in Smithfield.

My rates are $60 per month (4-30 minute lessons).

My schedule allows lessons after school, evenings and on the weekends.
